TRICHY: Tamil nadu Prime Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami said on Thursday the actor turned politician Kamal haasan it wouldn’t do people any good.
The CM, which was in Ariyalur, was reacting to Makkal Leader Needhi Maiam’s tweet that officials were following in the footsteps of the state government on corruption, pointing to the seizure of unaccounted for money from RTOs and other offices by the DVAC.
Palaniswami said: “The DVAC depends on the state government. The raids show our intention to prevent bad practices. At the age of 70, he (Kamal) is directing ‘big boss‘. What’s in that show? He is not here to do good to people. If children and families watch such a show, they will be spoiled. ”
“Families will not prosper if the people who host ‘Bigg Boss’ go into politics. Their opinions should be ignored, ”said the CM in response to a question from journalists.
