South African fast bowler Kagiso rabada has been ruled out of the upcoming three-game ODI series against England, which will start in Cape Town from Friday (December 4).
Rabada has suffered a right adductor (groin) strain, which also kept him out of the deadlock at Newlands, which England won by nine wickets to shut out the hosts in the three-game series.

Cricket South Africa He said the 25-year-old is expected to take about three weeks to recover and has therefore been released from the equipment and biosecurity environment in place for the England tour.
Rabada is expected to be in a position to lead the Proteas attack in the test series against Sri Lanka, which begins on Boxing Day (December 26).
With an expanded 24-man team named after England’s ODIs due to COVID-19 protocols, South Africa is unlikely to name a replacement for Rabada.
