Kagiso Rabada overtakes Jasprit Bumrah to return to the top of Purple Cap’s count


At Dream11 IPL 2020, Delhi Capitals pacemaker Kagiso Rabada bagged four wickets in Qualifier 2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday to return to the top of the Purple Cap tally.

The South African pacemaker has 29 wickets to his name and is now ahead of Bumrah in the leading tally of land takers.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians pacemaker Jasprit Bumrah, who clinched four wickets in IPL 2020 Qualifier 1 against Delhi Capitals on Thursday, is now second in the Purple Cap table.

Overall, Bumrah has 27 wickets in her 14-game kitty.

Additionally, SRH’s Rashid Khan chose a wicket against DC in Qualifier 2 to return in the top five on Orange Cap’s account. The Afghan spinner now has 20 wickets in 16 games and is fifth on the table.

Notably, Bumrah’s teammate Trent Boult bagged two wickets against Delhi in Qualifier 1 to jump to third place in the table. The Kiwi now has 22 sites to its name.

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore spinner Yuzvendra Chahal won a wicket in the ongoing IPL Eliminator 2020 against Sunrisers Hyderabad to move up to fourth place in the Purple Cap tally.

Chahal now has 27 wickets to his name in 15 games.
