The verdict handed down by the IWC special tribunal in the Babri demolition case has been acclaimed by many Union political leaders and ministers. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh took the initiative to congratulate the 32 people who were acquitted by the court.
“I welcome the decision of the Lucknow special court not to join any conspiracy of 32 people, including Shri LK Advani, Shri Kalyan Singh, Dr. Murali Manohar Joshi, Umaji in the Babri Masjid demolition case. The verdict has shown that justice prevailed even if it is late, ”Singh wrote on Twitter.
In delivering the verdict, Judge SK Yadav said that the demolition of the mosque was not planned in advance, but a spontaneous act. He also said that “there is no conclusive evidence against the accused.”

The case was related to the demolition of the disputed structure in Ayodhya on December 6, 1992.

Murli Manohar Joshi from BJP, also one of the defendants, said: “It is a historic decision of the court. This proves that no conspiracy was hatched for the December 6 incident in Ayodhya. Our program and rallies were not part of any conspiracy. We are happy, now everyone should be excited about the construction of Ram Mandir. “
“False narratives and conspiracy theories are finally dismissed by the IWC Hon’bl Court in the landmark Babri Masjid demolition verdict,” said Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri. He also congratulated LK Advani and other leaders who were acquitted by the court.
BJP MP Lok Sabha and one of the defendants in the Babri demolition case, Ram Vilas Vedanti, left the court with a sign of victory. “It is good. Justice done. The court agreed that we did nothing wrong,” he said after the verdict.
Welcoming the verdict, Uttar Pradesh Prime Minister and BJP Leader Yogi Adityanath said: “Satyamev Jayate, the truth has won.”
In a press release, CM said that “the then congressional government acted with political biases, indulged in vote bank policy and slandered the leaders of the BJP, the saints, the leaders of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and various social organizations presenting false cases. The people involved in the conspiracy should apologize to the people of the country. “
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said both the party and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray welcome the verdict.
“We must not forget the incident while the grand Ram Mandir is being built. If the Babri structure had not collapsed, we would not have seen the construction of the Ram temple, ”Raut said.
BJP National Spokesperson Nalin Kohli said: “The detailed 2000 page sentence has rejected CBI’s case that the demolition was a conspiracy and was pre-planned. This has been the consistency of the BJP and its senior leaders, which is validated ”.
He went on to add that, in criminal law, evidence must stand up to scrutiny in court beyond a reasonable doubt. “It should be noted that the CBI had presented all the evidence prior to the formation of the Modi government,” she said.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) also welcomed the verdict.
