Mounting an attack on Banerjee for his comments against PM Narendra Modi, Nadda said: “The glossary that Mamata Ji uses for PM, says how much he has brought down Bengal. We feel hurt. Bengal belongs to everyone … elections, people to him. it will say ‘Namaskar’ and the BJP lotus will bloom, we will win more than 200 seats. “
During a demonstration, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had said: “They (BJP) have no other job. Sometimes the Home Secretary is here, other times their Chaddha, Nadda, Fadda, Bhaddha is here. West Bengal suffers from ‘anarchy, anarchy, intolerance’: Nadda
Addressing a press conference, Nadda, who was on a two-day visit to West Bengal, said the attack on her convoy speaks volumes about the mindset of Mamata Banerjee and her TMC. He also criticized the TMC for corruption in the state, saying that ‘cutting money is the order of the day, way of life under the TMC government in West Bengal’.
Amid a war of words between BJP and TMC over the deaths of party workers in the state, Nadda said 130 BJP workers have been “killed” in West Bengal. Nadda claimed that West Bengal suffered from “anarchy, anarchy, intolerance.”
Earlier in the day, Banerjee launched a scathing attack on the BJP, saying that party workers were attacking themselves and blaming the TMC. “BJP workers come out with guns for the demonstrations every day. They slap each other and blame TMC,” he said.
Nadda also criticized the TMC for its ‘mismanagement of COVID-19’ and accused the state government of not allowing central government teams to visit hospitals. “The Bengal public will not forgive her now,” he said.
