Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood, who has teased many greats with his persistent line and length, has chosen the toughest hitter he has ever played with.
Hazlewood held a question and answer session on Instagram Live where she interacted with her fans. There, one of the users asked Hazlewood about the most troublesome hitter he had ever played on.
Like many others, the New South Wales pacemaker named Proteas as AB de Villiers the most difficult hitter to pitch.
The two have clashed on several occasions each time Australia blocked horns with South Africa in testing as well as in the ODI.
“There are some around the world at the moment. But I would definitely say AB de Villiers. I am very happy that he has retired from international cricket, “said Hazlewood.

Hazlewood’s bowling style is often compared to the Australian legend Glenn Mcgrath with a similar stroke and precision.
Representing Australia in up to 106 international games, Hazlewood has 281 scalps to his name, with the best figures of 6/67 in testing and 6/52 in ODI.
However, the 29-year-old found it an uphill task to face “Mr. 360”, who is now a walking cricket franchise, after hanging up his international cricket boots. De Villiers has represented Brisbane Heat, Tshwane Spartans, Lahore Qalandars and Rangpur Riders in the world’s major leagues.
Much had been said about AB’s return to the national team for the 2020 T20 World Cup in Australia. Mark Boucher’s tastes remain optimistic about his place on the South African team for the coveted tournament.
Under normal circumstances, AB was slated to resume his period in the Indian Premier League (IPL), wearing the red and black of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). However, due to the global pandemic crisis, the tournament was suspended indefinitely.
