If this concept of attention existed in cricket, I would have followed Jofra Archer incessantly as he is a pure artist and today he was seen shaking his leg, dancing Bihu with Parag after firing Shaw. Even before the DC starter could look in, he was fired on the first ball.
Jofra Archer is pure fun, he’s the kind of gamer, a showman, a blockbuster character that people flock to and pay a hefty sum to see. It is the tribe that makes people fall in love with this sport. Not only is he gifted as a cricketer, but he has an aura of coolness that helps him relate to lovers of the game. Today again Jofra was in his theatrical prime when he castled the stumps of Delhi Capitals starter Prithvi Shaw on the first ball of the game after which he shook a leg and celebrated the moment in the best possible way with teammates from the Royals, more then, Riyan Parag.
So it’s the first installment of the game, even the fans are getting their popcorn and drinks ready, and before they could blink, Jofra Archer, fully prepared to turn heads and stun batters, like she does all the time, throws a peach from a delivery to Prithvi Shaw, whose rear foot remains frozen in the crease and doesn’t line up with the delivery as Jofra swings the ball to greet the stumps. Shaw’s old age problem causes his downfall again.
Jofra, delighted with the window, shakes his leg and replicates Bihu’s dance steps, alongside Riyan Parag, who had similarly celebrated after helping Rajasthan win the clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
