Joe Biden tweets Navratri’s wish, says ‘may good triumph over evil again’

The Democratic candidate for the US presidential election, Joe Biden, sent wishes for the Hindu festival Navratri on Saturday and wished the victory of good over evil once again.

“As the Hindu festival of Navratri begins, Jill and I send our best wishes to all who celebrate in the United States and around the world. May good triumph once again over evil and usher in new beginnings and opportunities for all, ”Biden tweeted on Saturday.

Indian Americans, the second largest immigrant group in the United States, account for less than 1% of registered voters for the November 3 election. But both parties, the Democrat and the Republican, have reached out to the community in case they become important in the event of a close vote.

The Indian community is also in the spotlight after Biden chose Senator Kamala Harris, the daughter of an Indian immigrant, as his running mate. Harris is the first black and Asian-American woman in history to run for the vice presidency for a major party.

The race for the prestigious presidential seat in the White House is nearing the final stretch with less than three weeks to go until the November 3 elections that will decide the next head of the United States of America.
