A fly came and sat on the head of US Vice President Mike Pence during the vice presidential debate and managed to gain more traction than most of the arguments presented in the debate.
Now, it appears that Joe Biden’s campaign also benefited from the viral issue. Biden’s campaign reportedly sold 35,000 fly swatters within hours of the debate.
Bloomberg credited a Biden staff member for reporting that they made a blue fly swatter that had the phrase ‘The Truth About Flies’ on it.

The campaign had popularized the “I paid more taxes than Donald Trump” buttons on the same day as a New York Times reported that the incumbent president of the United States had paid only $ 750 in taxes some years and none in others.
Twitter users raved about the common housefly that remained perched on Pence’s head for several minutes. More than the points made by Sen. Kamala Harris in the debate or Pence’s defense of it, the fly became a trending topic.
