The National Testing Agency, NTA, today released the JEE 2020 Master Answer Key. The answer key has been posted on the official NTA JEE site at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main exam was held across the country from September 1-6 amid much protests and criticism.
Around 8.7 lakhs of students signed up for this year’s exam. According to media reports, many students were unable to reach the venue due to transportation problems at various centers. The answer key released today is available on the official site and can be downloaded by following these simple steps outlined below.
JEE Main 2020 Answer Key: How to Download
- Visit the official NTA JEE site at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on JEE Main 2020 Answer Key Link available on the home page.
- A new page will open where candidates must download the answer key.
- Keep a printed copy of it for future needs.
After downloading the answer key, students can file objections against it. The objection window will remain open until September 10, 2020, according to the official notice. To raise objections against the answer key, candidates will need to follow these simple steps again.
JEE Main 2020 Answer Key: How to raise objections
- Visit the official JEE Main site at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the available link “Challenge Answer Key” on the home page.
- Select an option (by application number and password or by application number and date of birth) to log in.
- Enter the required details in the space provided.
- Select the required questions you want to object to.
- Save your claim and proceed to payment.
- To file an objection against each question, you will have to pay a processing fee of Rs 200. In case the dispute is correct, the processing fee will be refunded to the same account.
Once the objections are raised, the Agency will review them and, after making the changes, will publish the final answer key. The result would also be posted shortly after the final answer key. For more related details, candidates can visit the official JEE Main site.
