New Delhi: The JEE (Main) 2020 exam will be held from September 1-6. This year’s exam will be by computer and will be conducted following the COVID-19 guidelines.
There will be a gap of at least one computer between each student. The number of centers also increased from 570 to 660 in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Main 2020 Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) shifts have been increased from 8 to 12, which will be conducted according to the schedule published by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The increase in the number of screenings indicates that the exams will take place in two shifts per day.
About 85,000 students will take exams at 660 centers in one shift. The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 pm and the second will be from 3 pm to 6 pm
The NTA is conducting the JEE Main 2020 for admission to undergraduate programs at NIT, IIIT and other centrally funded technical institutions (CFTI), etc. for the next academic year (2020-2021) in two phases.
