‘Will Announce JEE Advanced 2021 Dates, IIT Eligibility Criteria on Jan 7’: Minister of Education

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will announce the dates of the Advanced 2021 Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) in a live discussion on Twitter on January 7. It will also clarify the admissions process and eligibility criteria in various Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). ) during the same online event. It had previously announced dates for JEE Main 2021. The first attempt will be February 23-26, while the last date to request the same is January 16.
Mr. Pokhriyal said, “My dear students, I will announce the eligibility criteria for admission to IIT and the date for JEE Advanced on January 7 at 6pm. Stay tuned”.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, qualified candidates for JEE Main 2020 who were unable to apply for JEE Advanced 2020 will have the opportunity to directly apply for JEE Advanced 2021 without reappearing for JEE Main 2021.
This year, JEE 2021 has undergone several changes. The National Engineering Entrance Exam will be conducted in four phases, as BTech and BE candidates will have the opportunity to sit for the exam four times. The best of the four attempts will be considered for the final list of merits. The exam will be conducted in 11 regional languages.
Further changes have been made to the JEE Main 2021 question paper pattern. JEE Main candidates must attempt 75 questions out of a total of 90 questions.
There were several live discussions held by the Minister of Education on December 10, December 16, December 22 and December 31 to discuss the CBSE Board Exams, the JEE Main 2021 Engineering Entrance Exam and the Entrance Exam NEET doctor 2021.
