Joint entrance exam dates have been announced, JEE Advanced or IIT JEE 2020. Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal shared today that JEE Advanced 2020 would take place on August 23, 2020. The Minister of HRD announced the JEE Main 2020 dates on May 5 during a webinar with students.
JEE Main 2020 will take place from July 18 to 23. Given the date of JEE Advanced 2020, it can be suggested that JEE Main 2020 results are expected to be announced before August 10. The online application process for JEE Advanced 2020 would start only after the final results of JEE Main 2020 are announced along with the JEE Main 2020 ranges.
Up to 2.5 lakh stduents, based on their JEE Main 2020 scores, would be eligible to sit for the exam. JEE Advanced 2020 is the entrance / admission test for the best technical institutions in the country. Announcing the dates would help thousands of students preparing for the entrance exam.
Students may note that the timeline provided above is only based on the usual time frame followed by the IIT when it comes to the exam. The actual schedule would be announced by IIT Delhi in a few days. IIT JEE or JEE Advanced 2020 is carried out by IITs, while JEE Main, the qualifier, is carried out by the National Testing Agency. Both JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2020 would be online or computer based tests.
