The Joint Advanced Entrance Exam (JEE-Adv) will be held across the country on Sunday, and 160,000 students are likely to sit for the engineering entrance exam this year amid the coronavirus disease pandemic.
The exam takes place in two time slots: from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The exam, organized by the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-D), takes place in 222 cities and over 1,000 exam centers.

In an attempt to avoid overcrowding and ensure the implementation of other safety regulations related to Covid-19, the examining authorities have asked students to report to their respective centers in a staggered manner, as they have been assigned presentation times. of separate reports.
The same format was also followed during the JEE-Mains exam that took place between September 1 and 6.
“Candidates must wear masks and hand gloves and bring their personal hand sanitizer (50 millimeters). They must also bring all the pages of the JEE-Adv admission card, including the self-declaration form, along with a valid proof of identity with photo to the test center, ”stated the standard operating procedures (SOP) for the exam. Candidates have also been instructed to carry a simple pen.
About 64% of the students, or 250,000 candidates, were eligible to take the JEE-Adv after taking the JEE-Mains. However, around 160,831 students completed the registration process for JEE-Adv.
The results of this exam are scheduled to be announced on October 5, after which the admission process to the 23 IITs will begin. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will make the admission to the IITs.
