JEE 2020 main result: The National Testing Agency, in less than a week, is ready to declare the result of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main on Friday. More than 8 lakhs of students had appeared on the JEE Main 2020 exam amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Students, parents and opposition leaders had vigorously protested demanding the postponement of the exam. But the government did not heed their requests. Launch the answer key:

On Tuesday, the NTA had posted the JEE 2020 primary response key on its official website: nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in. Students can verify the JEE 2020 primary response key using their application number, password, and date of birth.

How to check and download the main output of JEE 2020:

Step 1. Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Step 2. Click on ‘JEE Mains 2020 Results’

Step 3. A new window will appear on the screen.

Step 4. Enter your credentials and login

Step 5. The results of your JEE Mains 2020 will be displayed on the screen

Step 6. Download the JEE Mains 2020 results and make a hard copy for future reference.

26% students gave the engineering entry test a failure

If the reports are to be believed, more than a quarter of the students did not show up to write their exams. According to data from the Ministry of Education, almost 1,14,563 of the students stopped taking the exams that were carried out in the first three days. Of the 8.58 lakh applicants, only 6.35 lakh showed up for the engineering test which took place from September 1-6.
