JEE Advanced 2020 Results: Shubh Kumar emerged as the best from Bihar in the Guhawati Zone with an All India Rank (AIR) of 117 in the 2020 Advanced Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), the results of which were declared on Monday. He has scored 276 of 396 points.
Aakrity Pandey, a native of Hajipur, led the zone with AIR 952 in the women’s category.
About 30,000 applicants took the JEE Advanced exam on September 27 at 72 centers spread across 11 cities across the state.

Shubh Kumar, son of JD-U leader and businessman Sushil Kumar Suman and housewife Reena Kumari, has shown that success cannot be achieved with a stroke of luck. Consistent hard work is the key to success.
He scored 98% on the Class 12 exam and emerged as the best in Bihar on JEE Main1, Main 2 with a 99.99 percentile this year.

“My goal is to pursue Computer Science engineering at IIT-Bombay or Delhi. I have a great interest in science and technology since my childhood, ”said Kumar, 18.
Revealing his success mantra that helped him crack JEE on the first try, he shared, “I used to study about 12 hours a day. After the coaching classes, I dedicated my time to self-study. My coaching skills inspired me to work hard. I never had a personal phone and stayed away from social media to avoid distractions. “

About taking the test during the Covid-19 crisis, he said: “The pandemic put mental pressure to some degree. The decision to take the exam was balanced, which made me more anxious. “
Kumar’s father, Sushil, praised his son for taking first place in the area despite suffering from dengue just before the exam. He said: “My son was found positive for dengue in mid-August. Fighting the disease, he managed to get the highest score, which has made us proud. I feel like he would have done better if he had stayed healthy before the exam. “
