Condoning the death of Jaswant Singh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recalled his service to the nation as a soldier and later as a Union minister.

Former union minister and former BJP leader Jaswant Singh died on Sunday at the age of 82. As a major tribute to the party’s veteran, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recalled his service to the nation as a soldier and later as a Union minister.

“Jaswant Singh Ji served our nation diligently, first as a soldier and then during his long association with politics. During Atal Ji’s rule, he handled crucial portfolios and left a strong mark on the world of finance, defense, and foreign affairs. Saddened by his passing, ”Modi tweeted.


Jaswant Singh Ji will be remembered for his unique perspective on politics and society. It also contributed to the strengthening of the BJP. I will always remember our interactions. Condolences to his family and followers. Om Shanti, ”he added.
