Australia’s dashing hitter Glenn maxwell had an outstanding three-game ODI series against India. The mighty striker showed his classic avatar in all three matches and hit the Indian bowlers early on. The Victorian broke two half centuries and racked up as many as 167 runs, the fifth highest in the series.

India beat Australia to avoid a clean sweep
Earlier in the match, India, after choosing to hit, went 302/5 in 50 overs. Skipper Kohli made 63 of 78 balls, while Ravindra Jadeja contributed 66 unbeaten of 50 deliveries. The biggest draw for Men in Blue fans was an impressive hit Hardik pandya.
Pandya took over when India was in serious trouble having lost five wickets to 152. The right-handed hitter formed a vital undefeated 150 race stand with Jadeja to take India past the 300-race mark. Pandya scored 92 runs in 76 deliveries with the help of 7 fours and one of six.
In response, the home team packed 289, losing the game by 13 runs. The australian captain Aaron Finch he was the top scorer of his team. He broke 75 runs of 82 deliveries. Aside from Finch, Maxwell also played a valuable 59-of-38-ball interlocking shot with 3 fours and 4 highs. The 15-race victory helped the touring team avoid a clean sweep.
Now both teams will meet in the same venue in the three-match T20I series starting Friday (December 4).
