It will ensure that BJP runs out of power for 25 years, says Sanjay Raut

Land Row: 'Will insure BJP without power for 25 years', says Sanjay Raut

A land agreement between the two families was legally made in 2014, said Rajya Sabha MP.

Mumbai (Maharashtra):

The Shiv Sena said on Friday that the allegations of land deals between the families of Maharashtra Prime Minister Uddhav Thackeray and the late Anvay Naik were attempts to change the direction of the investigation into the suicide of the Alibaug interior designer.

The ruling party’s main spokesman, Sanjay Raut, attacked the BJP and criticized its former MP Kirit Somaiya, who made claims for land deals between the two families on Wednesday and sought an investigation.

Further lashing out at the main opposition party, Sanjay Raut said: “We will ensure that the BJP remains out of power for 25 years in Maharashtra.”

Speaking to journalists, Raut lost his cool and referred to the BJP as “Shethji’s party “and called Kirit Somaiya a “vyapari” (merchants).

Spokespersons for the shethji Merchants / parties are unwilling to talk about a Marathi woman being widowed (referring to the wife of interior designer Anvay Naik).

“She and her daughter are crying out for justice and when we are trying to ensure that they get justice, these people are making accusations to divert the direction of the investigation towards suicide. This is a serious matter,” said Sanjay Raut, criticizing in the old ally of Sena.

A land agreement between the two families was legally made in 2014, said Rajya Sabha MP.

“Does (Kirit Somaiya) have a problem that a Marathi person made the deal?” He said, adding that no matter how long the MVA government led by the Sena lasts its full term (until 2024).

“We will ensure that the BJP remains out of power for 25 years in Maharashtra. Our position is to do justice to Anvay Naik’s family and punish those who legally forced him to take the extreme step of ending his life,” said Sanjay Raut . .

“Shethji’s “The party wants to protect the accused,” the Sena leader said in an apparent reference to television journalist Arnab Goswami, who along with two others has been accused of instigating the suicide of Anvay Naik and his mother for non-payment of the fees of their companies. .

“What 21 agreements is he (Kirit Somaiya) talking about? Show me even five. There was a transaction that was absolutely legal,” said Sanjay Raut.

When asked about the demand for an investigation by the Directorate of Law Enforcement into the alleged land deals, Raut replied: “Why only ED … allow the CBI to conduct an investigation? Go to Interpol , FBI, KGB, Interpol and the United Nations. “

Kirit Somaiya has alleged that there were multiple land deals between Uddhav Thackeray’s wife, Rashmi, and Anvay Naik, who allegedly committed suicide on May 5, 2018.

“How are you linked to the accused? Aren’t you worried about the mother-son duo that ended their lives?” Sanjay Raut asked, pointing to the former BJP Member of Parliament.

Republic TV’s Arnab Goswami was arrested by Alibaug police in the adjoining Raigad district on November 4 and released from jail on November 11 after the Supreme Court granted him provisional bail in the case.
