Noting that Congress has improved with each and every crisis and that it also formed the UPA government in 2004 under the able leadership of Soniaji, Gehlot said that “we will also get through this moment.”

Gehlot was reacting to the statements of Sibal, who once again questioned the functioning of the party leadership.
Sibal was one of 23 leaders who wrote a letter seeking radical reforms in the party.
Claiming that he was “forced to speak publicly” because “there is no forum in the party to discuss party issues,” he said Congress needs efficient, high-level leaders to administer the elections.
