Will Apple iOS 14.3 Release Arrive For Your Apple iPhone Later Today? All indications suggest it. A few days ago, Apple released several versions of iOS 14.3 Release Candidate for developers and public beta testers, and a final version of iOS 14.3 is expected to arrive on its iPhones in the next few hours. The biggest hint of the date comes from Apple’s announcement that Apple Fitness +, a subscription-based fitness service powered by Apple Watch, is rolling out in many countries today. And users will need iOS 14.3 in order to sign up. The iOS 14.3 update will also introduce the long-awaited ProRAW photography mode, the option to record video at 25 fps, updates for Apple TV +, and support for the new AirPods Max wireless earbuds. Apple AirPods Max offer high-fidelity audio, adaptive equalizer, active noise cancellation, transparency mode, and spatial audio. In each ear are 40mm audio drivers that have been designed by Apple. The company insists that the “unique dual neodymium ring magnetic motor enables the AirPods Max to maintain a total harmonic distortion of less than 1 percent throughout the audible range, even at maximum volume.” These headphones also use the dexterity of the H1 chip which has 10 audio cores and can do up to 9 billion computational calculations per second while managing adaptive equalizer, noise cancellation, transparency mode, and spatial audio options.
It’s interesting to note that Apple has gone from using Gold Master to Release Candidate for what is essentially the final beta version, unless adjustments are made for stability or features. Until now, Apple used Gold Master to indicate what the final test version of an iOS build was before the final version was released for all users. For photography enthusiasts, the iOS 14.3 update brings ProRAW mode to Apple iPhone 12 Pro cameras; this basically gives you a RAW image in a much larger file size than the standard images you take, to edit along with certain adjustments in noise reduction and exposure that algorithms would have already done for you. ProRAW photos can be edited within the Photos app on the iPhone. There will also be an option now to record video at 25 fps. The iOS 14.3 update also offers the mirroring option for selfies taken on older iPhones; The compatible list includes iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X.
The Apple TV app will also be updated with the new Apple TV + tab that will make it easier to discover and view your subscription content for the streaming platform.
Confirmation of the launch date of the Apple Fitness + subscription service not only confirms the arrival of iOS 14.3, but also the new watchOS 7.2 update for Apple Watch. The Apple Fitness + service works with Apple Watch Series 3 or later and the subscription will initially be available in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. There will be workouts and training sessions as well as personalized recommendations. The app will include video workouts with new additions each week for the ten most popular types of training: High Intensity Interval Training, Indoor Cycling, Yoga, Core, Strength, Dance, Rowing, Treadmill Walking, Treadmill Running, and Cooldown aware. There will be more updates for the Health app, Weather app, Clips, and Safari, which now adds the ability to set Ecosia as your default search engine. Apple will also introduce the new privacy information section for all applications listed in the App Store. The iOS 14.3 update will also fix the MagSafe Duo charger issue where you can charge an iPhone to less than full power, Spotlight search, MMS message stability, and fixed for contact group display and video playback on the Photos app.
