Actor Irrfan’s mother, Saeeda Begum, died of natural causes in Jaipur.

Irrfan’s mother, Saeeda Begum, last breathed on Saturday (April 25) in the morning. According to a report in ANI, Saeeda was ill for a long time and died of natural causes. She resided in the Beniwal Kanta Krishna colony in Jaipur.
Saeeda belongs to a Nawabi family and was also a poet. Film trade analyst, Komal Nahta went to Twitter to announce his passing. He wrote: “Saeeda Begum, mother of actor Irrfan Khan, passed away today (April 25) in Jaipur at the age of 95. May her soul rest in peace.”

According to The New Indian Express, Irrfan paid his last respects to his mother via video conference. He is currently in Mumbai. Due to the ongoing blockade, the actor was unable to participate in the funeral ceremony.
Saeeda has left three children Irrfan and her brothers, Salman and Imran. Speaking to the newspaper, Salman said, “My mother had been ill for some time. But suddenly her health deteriorated on Saturday morning. Recently, my mother had inquired about Irrfan Bhai’s health.”
Saeeda came from the only Muslim state of Rajasthan during the pre-independence era, Tonk. She belonged to a Nawabi family from the region.
