IPL 2020 begins September 19
The long awaited Indian Premier League (IPL) schedule will be announced on Sunday.
With IPL 2020 just days from the already delayed start that will be forced to take place now in Dubai due to Covid-19, President Brijesh Patel said the matches will be declared on Sunday, September 6, 2020. All eight teams are currently in waiting for the release of the accessories, but due to different quarantine rules in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the IPL operations team took the time to finalize the schedule.
The 2020 IPL begins on September 19 and the tournament final is confirmed to be played on November 10. It will be the first time that the final will be played on a weekday. The games will be played at three venues: Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai.
