IPL 2020: Will Suresh Raina Return to UAE? Here’s what CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan said | Cricket news

Amid mounting demands for Suresh Raina’s return to the Chennai Super Kings team in the current Indian Premier League season, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan said on Saturday (September 26) that Raina will not be returning to the CSK side, but added that fans will soon get reason to smile.

“We cannot look at Raina because she was unavailable, and we respect her decision and her space. We are not thinking about that,” Viswanathan told ANI.

“I can assure the fans that we will recover strongly. It is a game and you have your good and bad days. But the boys know what they have to do and the smiles will return.”

It should be noted that Raina has been an important part of CSK for years and is the second best player in IPL history. Raina went to the United Arab Emirates to participate in the IPL with the CSK team but returned to India a few days before the start of the tournament after the murder of his uncle.

After CSK’s humiliating loss to Delhi Capitals, CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni admitted a lack of “strength” in hitting.

“We’re lacking a little steam in the hitting and that hurts. The execution rate keeps increasing after such slow starts and it adds pressure, we have to figure that out. We need to come back with a clearer picture, looking at the combination. the ones we can think of. We’re an extra hitter to start with, so players need to step up, “Dhoni said.

CSK has played three games at IPL 2020 so far and is now fifth on the points table.
