Reports that the Sunrisers Hyderabad Bhuvneshwar Kumar pacemaker was ruled out of the 2020 Indian Premier League was confirmed by the franchise on Tuesday. In a tweet, SRH named the young left arm pacemaker Prithvi Raj Yarra as a replacement for Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

The Andhra Pradesh bowler, who has taken 39 wickets in 11 first-class matches, is expected to join the Sunrisers team soon in the UAE.
Meanwhile, according to BCCI sources cited by the PTI news agency, Bhuvneshwar’s injuries could put him out of competition for about six to eight weeks, meaning he may not be able to travel to Australia for the Australia tour.
Next Thursday, SRH will face Kings XI Punjab.
