The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) will see some big stars lose themselves in the league. As teams are busy finalizing their permutation and combinations for the 2020 IPL, cricketer-turned-commentator Sanjay Manjrekar took to his official Twitter profile to rank the eight sides of the IPL based on their hitting skills.
Manjrekar has been interacting with fans on his profile for quite some time, drawing their opinions and discussing various aspects related to the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.
Putting on the condition that the pitches rotate in the UAE, Manjrekar believes that Chennai Super Kings have the best hitting unit, followed by KL Rahul’s Kings XI Punjab and Shreyas Iyer’s Delhi Capitals.
Manjrekar has ranked CSK at the top, even after Suresh Raina, the key member of the team’s batting unit, withdrew from the next edition. CSK’s batting unit is made up of such players as Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu, Captain MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Murali Vijay. Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo also offer practical lower-order batting options.
Okay, here we go guys! 😊 As promised, my batting unit rating, if pitches are delivered in the United Arab Emirates.
1) CSK
2) KXI
3) CC
4) MI
5) RCB
6) KKR
7) SRH
8) RRNext: Sewing Attack Rating on Slow Throws, Average Score 140/150.

On the other hand, Manjrekar was left out of the comment panel selected by the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) for IPL 2020.
The former Indian test cricketer gave a written apology not once but twice to BCCI with a guarantee of ‘I will adhere to the guidelines set by you’, despite BCCI choosing to ignore it in its comment panel for the IPL 2020.
According to a report by the Mumbai Mirror, the Indian board has finalized seven Indian commenters for the IPL, but Manjrekar is not on the list.
BCCI has selected Sunil Gavaskar, L Sivaramakrishnan, Murali Kartik, Deep Dasgupta, Rohan Gavaskar, Harsha Bhogle, and Anjum Chopra to comment for the IPL 2020 World Feed.
