3, 1, 14 – These are Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli’s scores in the 2020 IPL so far. RCB would like to believe that this is a pause before the storm and the storm could come in their next match against the Rajasthan Royals in Abu Dhabi.
Kohli, who is the IPL’s leading run scorer, has a chance to make history against the Royals. Kohli is 82 races away from completing 9,000 races in T20.

If he finds the form and scores those 82 runs on Saturday, he would become the first Indian player to reach the benchmark.
Overall, Kohli would become the seventh batter to reach 9,000 T20 runs.
In 269 innings, Kohli has 8,918 runs in T20 averaging 40.72 and a strike rate of 134.24 with five hundred and 64 fifty to his name.

In IPL, he has 5430 runs in 180 games, the most. But the RCB captain is the only one in this IPL among the top four, including Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, Kohli and AB de Villiers, who does not record a score of more than 50.
