Ravindra Jadeja received a souvenir with a sword mounted on him by his Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a gift for which the off-roader is grateful. Head coach Stephen Fleming presented the gift to Jadeja in the presence of CSK captain MS Dhoni. Jadeja’s name along with “The Rajput Boy” was inscribed in the memory followed by Jadeja’s IPL achievements: “Only Indian player to achieve more than 100 wickets and more than 1900 IPL races. Most wickets by any left arm turn in IPL: 108 wickets “.

“Thanks to the @chennaiipl team for giving me this award. Playing for this incredible franchise is an honor and an opportunity that I appreciate. Waiting for the season, ”Jadeja wrote on Twitter while tweeting photos with Fleming and Dhoni, as well as a video that captures the characteristics of their gift.
Jadeja is a key member of Camp CSK, useful to the team as a low-order hitter and key pitcher. In the absence of Harbhajan Singh, who withdrew from IPL 2020 for personal reasons, Jadeja could be the leader in the XI.
CSK got off to a delayed start in their preparations for IPL 2020 after a series of positive COVID-19 cases at their camp, as two players along with several members of the support staff tested positive.
Deepak Chahar, one of the players who tested positive, has returned two negative tests later and has rejoined the squad.
Promoted
However, Ruturaj Gaikwad, the other player who tested positive, is still in isolation as CSK awaits clearance from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for Gaikwad to join the team’s bio-bubble.
CSK plays its first game on September 19 against the Mumbai Indians.
