Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan gave an amazing response to the legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s congratulatory message for Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR showed a full performance in match No. 12 of the 2020 IPL to beat the Rajasthan Royals by 37 runs in Dubai on Wednesday.
Young Shubman Gill top scorer with 47 of 34 balls and Eoin Morgan (34 * of 23) and Andre Russell (24 of 14) made valuable contributions to bring KKR to 174 of 6 after being hit first.
In response, Shivam Mavi and Pat Cummins ditched the famous top three of the Rajasthan Royals: Steve Smith, Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson. RR could only handle 137 of 9 in his 20 overs.
“Big hit from @RealShubmanGill who made some good shots. @ Russell12A’s short cameo and @ Eoin16’s good ending brought @KKRiders to a decent score. Excellent bowling performance. The pin changes were spot on and the balance of the team looked good, and a fantastic catch from athletic Nagarkoti. @ TC59’s 54 towards the end brought @rajasthanroyals to a respectable total, ”Sachin Tendulkar tweeted after KKR’s win.
In response to Tendulkar’s tweet, Shah Rukh said that now anything he said would cease to make sense as the ‘great man’ has spoken.
“Now, anything I say about @KKRiders and the guys will mean nothing. The great man has spoken. I am very happy to see everyone on the team supporting the young people and making it count. I love you guys, lots of pyaar from a little far away, ”Shah Rukh wrote.
The Bollywood actor was seen for the first time in Dubai since the IPL began on September 19. He was seen cheering for KKR from the stands of the Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday.
Shah Rukh was accompanied by his eldest son, Aryan.
KKR climbed to No. 2 on the points table with the win against RR. The team led by Dinesh Karthik will face Delhi Capitals on October 3 in Sharjah.
