New recruit for the Mumbai Indians, Trent Boult, is loaded for this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) and is going the extra mile during his training sessions. In a video shared by the Mumbai Indians on their official Twitter account, Boult can be seen running full blast to launch a delivery with head coach Mahela Jayawardene overseeing the entire session. Boult went the extra mile and delivered a delivery that hit the middle stump and snapped it in two. “Clean Boult! Trent has arrived,” the Mumbai Indians captioned in the video.

Trent Boult came to Mumbai Indians after a successful exchange with Delhi Capitals prior to the annual IPL auction in December last year.
Over the years, the Mumbai Indians Bowling Attack has boasted several world-class fast bowlers, most notably Lasith Malinga, the most successful bowler in IPL history.
However, the defending champions will be left without Malinga’s services this season as he withdrew from the 2020 IPL for personal reasons.
Despite losing Malinga, the Mumbai Indians bowling attack is well-equipped with players like Jasprit Bumrah and Mitchell McClenaghan, who have consistently played for the team.

The Mumbai Indians will begin their title defense against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) led by MS Dhoni on September 19 in Abu Dhabi.
The Mumbai Indians are the most successful franchise in league history with four IPL titles, and they hope to add another trophy to their trophy cabinet.
