The Mumbai Indians showed their dominance on Sunday by posting an impressive 34-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League. Sharjah Stadium is known to be a hitting paradise after the exploits of previous teams in the IPL and the Mumbai Indians seized the field by hitting first. They had a grand total of 208 runs with Quinton de Kock scoring fifty fast.
It was a full IM performance as they played and launched their plans to perfection. Once again, the mighty team rose at the end to propel MI to a great score.
Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya scored 25 * and 28 runs respectively, while Krunal Pandya hit a 20-run snap shot with just four balls. Krunal came last and started hitting the balls in all parts of the park. He doesn’t have too many balls in the tournament but he proved his worth on Sunday. After securing a win over SRH, IM captain Rohit Sharma said it’s great to have three powerful hitters on the team.

“It’s a big headache to have three powerful hitters towards the end, but being fit is the most important thing. Krunal hasn’t hit much in the tournament, but today he showed what a great opportunity he was, 20 four-ball runs and I thought that towards the end it was important to go past 200 ”.
“The gate looked good, but it was a little slower, so going over 200 was a big effort. We had no total in mind. We stand behind our bowlers to get the job done. And that’s what they did. I definitely lost it, but again you do your best every chance you get. Great effort from the guys to put those races on the board, ”Sharma said during the post-game presentation via announcer Star Sport.
“We decide the middle order depending on how the game goes. Pairings, match situation, etc. It’s great to have three powerful hitters. Today Krunal also showed his courage ”, he added.

Jasprit Bumrah, James Pattinson and Trent Boult of the Mumbai Indians took two wickets each in the match to bring the team to the other side of the line.
Sharma further said: “You come up with plans to go bowling. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but you have to make the best delivery at the time. I don’t try to impose my plans on them. I want you to give me your plan and then I prepare the ground. It’s always nice to have bowlers do that. ”
