Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has seen ups and downs in the current Indian Premier League season so far. In five games so far, the IM captain has scored two-fifty, but in the remaining three games, he hasn’t been able to get too many runs on the board.
It remains to be seen which version of Rohit Sharma will take the field when MI takes on the Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday. But if it is Rohit Sharma that marks half a century, the record books will be rewritten.

The Mumbai starter is currently tied for the top with Chennai Super Kings’ Suresh Raina on the list of Indian players with over fifty in IPL. Both players have scored 38 half centuries in the tournament over the years.
If Rohit scores a fifty against the Royals, he would surpass Raina to become the Indian player with more than fifty in IPL (39). Overall, he would remain in 2nd position behind Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner, who has scored 45 50 points so far.

Rohit, meanwhile, will also surpass Suresh Raina in the list of players with the most appearances in the IPL. While Raina has played 193 games in IPL, the right-handed hitter will play his 194th. Overall, he would be the second player on the list, behind only CSK captain MS Dhoni, who has played 195 games.
Rohit is also just 82 races away from hitting the 9000 T20 race mark.
