There was a time when it seemed like it was all over for KL Rahul and Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League. But three consecutive victories have suddenly turned the tables and if KXIP could beat Sunrisers Hyderabad, they could see themselves moving up to the top four, beating Kolkata Knight Riders. SRH are in the same position as KXIP, and this contest will be a sensational thriller that can go all the way.

Here is our planned XI for KXIP’s IPL match against DC: –
KL Rahul (c & wk): KL Rahul has been very good in the tournament. He had a rare day off against Delhi Capitals in the last game and will be eager to make up for it against SRH.
Mayank Agarwal: Mayank Agarwal has proven to be a great starter for KXIP, but he must also be a match winner. He still needs to hit all the way like KL Rahul does.
Chris Gayle: The arrival of Chris Gayle has given KXIP’s hitting a huge boost and it has seemed like a tough unit to beat. He is a person that SSR should be careful of.
Nicholas Pooran – Nicholas Pooran has found his form in the tournament and provides much-needed firepower to the middle order of KXIP.
Glenn Maxwell: Glenn Maxwell may not have done wonders with KXIP, but he will certainly gain confidence with his bowling and hitting performance against DC.
Deepak Hooda: Deepak Hooda has provided KXIP with an option that can not only hit the big shots, but can also hold a winger if necessary in the middle order.
James Neesham: James Neesham contributed both the bat and the ball in the previous game and will surely get one more game for KXIP.
Murugan Ashwin: Murugan Ashwin was crucial to KXIP keeping DC’s execution rate low in the previous game. It is key to face those raised by SRH of the first order.
Mohammed Shami: Mohammed Shami has been brilliant with the new ball and needs to continue in the same vein of form to help KXIP make it to the playoffs.
Ravi Bishnoi: Ravi Bishnoi has been one of the discoveries of the season and could emerge as the best youngster of the tournament.
Arshdeep Singh: Arshdeep Singh was fantastic against Delhi Capitals in the previous game. I could get one more set.
KXIP’s scheduled 11th vs. SRH: KL Rahul (c & wk), Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Glenn Maxwell, Deepak Hooda, James Neesham, Murugan Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh
