The legendary cricketer also praised Bumrah, who had returned with his best IPL figures of 4 out of 20. Bumrah fired dangerous Steve Smith and Rahul Tewatia before firing off-roaders Jofra Archer and Shreyas Gopal.

“A solid performance from @mipaltan when hitting and bowling. They got off to a great start choosing early terrain and continued to provide regular breakthroughs. @ Jaspritbumrah93 was exceptional. I enjoyed watching him go bowling tonight, ”Sachin wrote.

In reaction to Yadav’s higher IPL score, IM captain Rohit Sharma said the batter’s shot selection was perfect.

“He was approaching (a big blow), I also spoke with him (Surya) before the game. He was hitting all these games really well. He got off to a good start and it was just about making sure that shooting sometimes is very, very important and today his shooting was perfect, ”Rohit said after the match.

“We wanted him to hit until the end because of those innovative shots that he has, it was quite useful towards the end.”
