Former India starter Aakash Chopra said the Delhi Capitals have a very good chance of winning Qualifier 2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad if starter Prithvi Shaw hits at least 10 overs.
Chopra said Shaw can take the game away from the opposition because of the way he hits. (Total IPL Coverage 2020)
“The way he (Prithvi Shaw) plays, if he plays 10 overs, the match will be within his grasp,” Chopra said on his YouTube channel.

However, the former India starter was quick to add that Shaw’s lack of bat runs in this IPL has been a top concern for DC.

“But the problem is that he is not able to survive 10 balls too,” said Chopra. “He needs to get back in shape as there are high expectations of him.”
Shaw has scored just 228 runs in this IPL in 13 games with an average of 17.53, which is his worst in three seasons.
“The complete lack of form of the Delhi Capitals hitters is working against them. If we talk about the Prithvi Shaw form, it is missing, we don’t know where it is and we will have to write a missing report, ”said Chopra.
Chopra felt that the absence of a fast bowler in SRH’s ranks could help Shaw get back to his grove.
“The opposition team doesn’t have a bowling attack with such an aggressive pace, so I hope it really works for them,” he said.
Speaking about DC’s strong hitting lineup made up of Shikhar Dhawan, Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant, Chopra said they have one of the best collections of Indian hitters, but their form has been inconsistent during this tournament.
“The biggest strength before the Delhi Capitals tournament, which is still there, is that they can face all the Indian batsmen in the top 5. Dhawan can open with Prithvi Shaw followed by Rahane, Iyer and Pant. No other team can do that.
“Ajinkya Rahane has played only one good shot in the entire IPL, although he hasn’t played every game, he came out early in the other games.
“Shreyas Iyer has lost his form towards the end of the tournament and Pant never got it back,” said Chopra.
