IPL 2020: ‘He’s taken his game to another level’: Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma praises youngster – cricket

Suryakumar Yadav turned out to be one of the biggest positives for the Mumbai Indians in the current 2020 IPL season. He has been in hot form all season and played a crucial role in guiding MI to the final.

Yadav has played many winning shots for the team this season. Ahead of the season finale against Delhi Capitals on Tuesday, skipper Rohit Sharma praised the IM No. 3 saying the player has “taken his game to another level.”

“Surya is someone who has taken his game to another level. We have all seen; we have all been witnesses. One good thing about him that caught my attention was his pace and maintaining that rhythm when he hits the bat, “Rohit said at the pregame press conference.

“He’s not comfortable bowling right now, you know, and we’ve left the whole decision on him. If he feels comfortable, he will be happy to go bowling, but at the moment, he does not feel comfortable, he has some discomfort, ”said Rohit.

The four-time champions will look to retain the title on Tuesday when they face DC in Dubai. Shreyas Iyer’s Delhi Capitals will play their first IPL final.
