The 13th season of the Indian Premier League is coming to an end. The final of the 2020 IPL season will be played between the four-time winners of the Mumbai Indians and the first-time contenders Delhi Capitals on Tuesday at the Dubai International Stadium. It will be a battle between the two best teams in the tournament. While Mumbai seeks its fifth record title, Delhi seeks its first title on Friday.
DC will also retaliate after the humiliating loss they suffered at the hands of MI in Qualifier 1. MI had scored 200/5 in their 20 overs, but reduced DC to a score of 0/3 in the first two overs. . The main architect of the collapse was a former DC pacemaker. Trent Boult took out Prithvi Shaw and Ajinkya Rahane in the first over himself. Boult has been spectacular this season as he has won 22 wickets in the tournament to help MI reach the 2020 IPL final.

IM captain Rohit Sharma praised Boult before the final. He said MI was lucky to have traded him since DC as he is the “best bowler with the new ball”.
“It is obvious that (Boult) is the best pitcher with the new ball, when it comes to returning the ball to the batter and luckily for us, we changed it from Delhi and he has not disappointed any of us.” Rohit said, recalling what capitals are losing.
“Looking at the squad, the strength, the balance of this team, you know I can’t point out anything (weakness) to be honest,” said the skipper.
Rohit responded to a question posed by the Hindustan Times at the pre-game virtual press conference about Boult’s injury and the IM captain said the player is expected to play on Tuesday.
“Trent looks pretty good. Today he will have a session with all of us, he has recovered quite well in the last two days. So, fingers crossed, I hope he plays, ”Sharma said.
In 14 games this season, Boult has collected 22 wickets in 14 games with an average of 19.40 and is currently in third position on the list of top wicket receivers for the season, behind only Kagiso Rabada of Delhi Capitals (29 ) and his IM teammate Jasprit Bumrah (27).
