Delhi Capitals starter Shikhar Dhawan, after a series of low scores, lived up to the big occasion and broke half a century (78 of 50 balls) in Qualifier 2 of the 2020 IPL against a SunRisers Hyderabad in the form of the Sunday. Dhawan broke six fours and two sixes during his coup that took Delhi to a whopping 189/3 total. Dhawan received a leg-before in the penultimate inning of the Sandeep Sharma bowling alley. However, the replay suggested that the impact was off the stump and Dhawan would have survived had he challenged the decision on the field. Former Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh, like many, was shocked that Dhawan didn’t use the Decision Review System (DRS) and decided to take action on social media.
Hahahah pajhi mainu lag gya plumb hai tah muuh chuk shawl paya jadh limit tey pahuncha tadh pata lag gya

“Great comeback of bowlers in last 2 overs! Not even a single limit scored Natrajan’s hat and @ sandeep25a execution of pressure game to the point! @ SDhawan25 fit man but naam to jatt ji hai How about drs bro? As usual he must have forgotten the game in #DCvSRH, “Yuvraj tweeted.
Responding to Yuvraj’s tweet, Dhawan explained why he didn’t review the decision. The starter said he thought he was plumb and that’s why he went back to the locker room. He further admitted that the idea of reviewing the decision crossed his mind much later, almost after reaching the limits.
“Hahahah pajhi mainu lag gya plumb hai tah muuh chuk shawl paya jadh boundary tey pahuncha tadh pata lag gya,” Dhawan replied in Punjabi, which roughly translates as: “I thought I was plumb, that’s why I started walking, but when I got there to the limit, I realized that. “

The left-handed hitter tried to reverse a full sweep from Sandeep but completely failed, wrapping him in pads. Dhawan had started his march back to the dugout even before the referee raised his finger to give him away.
After Dhawan’s firing, SRH pitchers dried up the runs and did not concede a single limit in the final two overs. The total, however, proved too much for SRH’s batting unit and Delhi won the match by 17 runs until the first final, where they will face the Mumbai Indians.
