Chennai Super Kings pacemaker Deepak Chahar, who tested positive for coronavirus last week, said Tuesday that he has “made a good recovery and hopes to be in action soon.”
Chahar shared his health status from his hotel room in Dubai.
Thank you very much for your beautiful wishes and prayers. I recovered well and hope to be in action soon, ”he said in a video posted on CSK’s Twitter account in which the Indian T20 specialist was doing a lower body weight training.
Thirteen members of the CSK contingent, including Chahar and one other player, tested positive for the virus. They are all isolated. Everyone else has tested negative on their first test and if they get another negative report on Thursday and can start training from the next day.
The development has forced the team to stay indoors after completing the first six days in quarantine.
Suresh Raina’s sudden departure from the IPL due to personal reasons is also a setback for the CSK led by MS Dhoni.
