Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini began in India, and the company opened the floodgates at 6:30 pm IST. Before the pre-orders, the Apple Store, as usual, had closed the online activity to add inventory. As mentioned, earlier today, the Apple Store India website had posted a message saying: “The weekend is almost here. And so is pre-ordering. It won’t take long now. Pre-order starts at 6:30 pm “This is likely because Apple set up the backend work to get the site up and running before pre-orders start. The Apple Store also dropped before orders previews of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro last month India’s online store launched in September this year.
In the US, Apple had posted a message on its online store that read: “You are … early. Pre-order begins at 5:00 am PDT. Enjoy the extra sleep. ”We note that the online store has also gone down in Australia, Japan and the UK.
