Four more people died of COVID-19 in Arunachal Pradesh, bringing it to 42, while the number of cases rose to 15,083 with 85 people testing positive for the infection on Wednesday, a senior official said.

The number of deaths from COVID-19 in the district rose to 1,923 and two more patients died, it said.
With 168 more patients discharged, the recovered case count rose to 37,809, the department said in a statement. The city of Ahmedabad reported 154 new cases and 150 recoveries, while the district’s rural areas recorded 12 new infections and 18 discharges, it said.

allowed private hospitals to use COVID-19 beds with oxygen to treat patients suffering from other illnesses.
With 546 new cases on Tuesday, the COVID-19 count in the western district of Maharashtra has risen to 3,25,212. Additionally, 3,05,945 patients have been discharged from hospitals, leaving 11,476 active cases in the district, authorities said.
“With the number of COVID-19 cases declining and the district’s recovery rate also improving, private hospitals have been allowed to use oxygenated COVID-19 beds for purposes other than COVID-19,” said collector Rajesh Deshmukh.
By removing clause 80:20 (COVID-19 and coronavirus-free patients), private hospitals were asked to provide a detailed plan on how they will manage these beds, he said.
