Coronavirus-related deaths also increased by 559 in this 24-hour period, bringing India’s total number of Covid deaths, among the lowest in the world per million, to 1.26,121. Active cases were further reduced to 5.12665 after a decrease of 3.967 in the last 24 hours. The total cured cases rose to 78.7 lakh with 49,082 people successfully battling the disease in the past 24 hours.
