While some suggested Pollard was talking about SRH’s Jason Holder, from whom he took over the West Indies captaincy in the limited overs formats, others opined that Pollard was referring to Rohit Sharma, who returned to the XI player after missing out. four games due to a hamstring injury.
“Enough evidence from the past to show that you are talking about Rohit Sir,” wrote one Twitter user.
“Don’t play the playoffs Polly. MI is nothing without you … Then only Rohit will understand …” wrote another.
“Is the headline Jason or Rohit?” Asked another user.
“Is that Jason’s headline?” asked a fan.
“I think it has more to do with the headline,” wrote one user.
