Virat Kohli offered a batting masterclass against Chennai Super Kings at the Dubai International Stadium on Saturday. The Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper played an undefeated knock of 90 to help his team achieve a competitive total of 169 for four of their quota of 20 overs. Kohli not only impressed fans and cricket experts, but even his better half, Anushka Sharma, was in awe of the India captain’s batting heroics. Anushka, who was at the stadium, was seen cheering for her husband after Kohli returned to the pavilion after the innings break.

Earlier, after winning the pitch, Kohli opted to hit and his decision appeared to backfire early in innings when Deepak Chahar cleared Aaron Finch in the third over.
The RCB captain then joined Devdutt Padikkal in the middle and the duo ran 53 runs for the second wicket.
Shardul Thakur eliminated Padikkal in the 11th and soon picked up another big wicket as he sent AB de Villiers back to the pavilion for a second ball.
As the wickets fell from one end, Kohli followed and placed the bad balls on the edge.
Kohli added 26 runs for the fourth wicket with Washington Sundar before Sam Curran ruled him out.

All-rounder Shivam Dube joined his skipper in the middle and remained undefeated at 22.
The duo added 76 runs when the CSK bowlers were taken to the cleaners towards the end of the RCB innings.
