Kieron Pollard and the Pandya brothers, Hardik and Krunal, are fat as thieves against the Mumbai Indians. They come to bat one after the other in the lineup and also share a close bond off the field. Pollard says that “there is Hardik Pandya and then there is the smartest Pandya.” Mumbai posted a video on social media showing how Pollard and the Pandya brothers unite on and off the field and how Hardik’s infectious energy from the ground is translated into intensity on the field.
“For us, the relationship we have off the field transcends the cricket field. We share some similar feelings. The kind of people we are in terms of just wanting to help and enjoy the moment and being grateful and appreciative for any opportunity that comes our way. “said Pollard.
The camaraderie off the field has translated into form on the field, as Hardik has emerged as one of Mumbai ‘s key hitters in the low middle order this season as well. He has scored 278 runs in 13 games with a strike rate of 182.89 out of one fifty.
Pollard has outplayed Hardik this season, though he has played two more games, scoring 259 runs in 15 games with a strike rate of 190.44 out of one fifty.

He has also picked up four wickets with his right arm at medium pace and has thrown some crucial overs on the kill.
Krunal hasn’t clicked as well as the other two, but has been effective at times. He has scored 108 runs in 15 games and collected six wickets with the twist of his left arm finger.
