Kohli claimed at the end of the game that the India hitter made bad shots and that is something that needs to be corrected in the next game.

“We just weren’t aware of what we had to do on that kind of field, I think the lack of execution of the shots that we tried to play there in the middle is something that we have to address as hitters that it wasn’t.” It’s an ideal day in the park, “Kohli said.

It would be interesting to see where Rohit Sharma is resting during the first two games, back to the side or not as India seeks to find answers in the higher order with Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul failing in the first match.
