Currently three wickets down, India will try to gain some momentum against England on Day 2 of the fourth and final test match, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The hosts currently have Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane batting, and the duo will be looking to build a decent partnership. Day 2 saw India lose Cheteshwar Pujara, to a delivery by Jack Leach. Meanwhile, Captain Virat Kohli also lost his wicket to Ben Stokes. Earlier in Day 1, India scored 24 to one in response to England’s score of 205 in the first innings. The hosts missed the wicket to Shubman Gill, who fell to a James Anderson pitch. Before the Indian innings, England’s batters were put through another spin test and couldn’t find their way out of the net. Axar Patel picked up four wickets and Ravichandran Ashwin took three when England endured another clash to score below par on what looks like good batting ground. Ben Stokes was England’s best scorer with 55 runs. (LIVE SCORE CARD)
