The highly anticipated day / night test between India and Australia is scheduled to start from Thursday next week and the excitement continues to grow. Much is expected of the meeting that promises a close duel between two of the best teams. India had lifted the prestigious Border-Gavaskar trophy the last time they traveled to Australia in 2018/19, and this is a chance for Australia to get revenge.

One of the key players missing from the series last time was Steve Smith. The batsman was serving the 12-month suspension he had received for his role in the 2018 ball handling scandal that rocked Cricket Australia.
Before the Adelaide test, Smith said it is important for players to relax and spend some time away from the game. Smith also said that it’s difficult for him too.
“Even when preparing for a test match, it is important to have a little downtime and unwind, even if it is only an hour with Sunday morning coffee. This is not something that is easy for me as I find it difficult to stop visualizing the game or shadow batting! #balance, ”Smith tweeted.
Along with the tweet, the Australian star also shared a picture of himself reading a book.
India’s skipper Virat Kohli will only play the first test against Australia and then return home, as he was granted paternity leave by the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI).
