India vs Australia (IND vs AUS) ODI, 2020 Test Series Schedule, Squad Announced

India T20, ODI, Test Squad, Tour of Australia Player List: The Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) announced the test squads, ODI and T20I for the Australia India tour on Monday after the All India Senior Selection Committee met via video conference on the same day.

India will tour Australia in a biosecurity bubble in November, where they will participate in four test matches, three ODI and three T20I after the conclusion of the ongoing IPL 2020 campaign.

Rohit Sharma, who is currently injured by the Mumbai Indians, has not been named to any of the three teams. The selection committee, led by former India player Sunil Joshi, did not name him on the teams because protocol prevents them from including any injured player at the time of selection.

The BCCI medical team will continue to monitor the progress of both Rohit and Ishant Sharma, who has suffered an abdominal injury while training for Delhi Capitals.

KL Rahul, who was removed from the test team after the 2019 series in the West Indies, has returned to the test team, while Hardik Pandya, who has not played for India since last September, will participate in the white ball formats.

Tamil Nadu and Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Varun Chakravarthy, who has had a rewarding IPL 2020 so far, has earned his first call-up in India.

Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Kartik Tyagi, Ishan Porel and T. Natarajan are the four additional bowlers who will also travel with the contingent to Australia.

Ravi Shastri, hitting coach Vikram Rathour, bowling coach Bharath Arun and field coach R Sridhar have arrived in the United Arab Emirates from their respective home cities along with testing specialists Cheteshwar Pujara and Hanuma Vihari on Sunday.

Based on Cricket Australia’s tentative schedule, the tour is likely to begin with the ODIs on November 27, with the last of the four Trials starting in Brisbane from January 15.

Sydney and Canberra are likely to host the cue ball stage (T20 and ODI), while Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney are the venues for the four-match test series. The D / N test match is scheduled in Adelaide.
