- Fans on Twitter lashed out at Shaw for his clueless entrapment in Adelaide
India’s starter Prithvi Shaw is certainly having a torrid moment on the field as he first missed with the bat on Day 1 and then on Friday dropped a babysitter on the square leg to hit the batter. Australian Marnus Labuschagne a lifeguard in Adelaide Test.
Labuschagne mis-timed a Jasprit Bumrah goalkeeper in the 23rd as the ball went off the top edge and into the middle of the wicket. Shaw stepped back and looked to rip her scalp, but he wasn’t fully in control and it slipped out of his grasp.

Fans on Twitter lashed out at Shaw for his disorientation and again expressed disappointment at the team’s selection.
Prithvi shaw must be hit every time Marnus scores a run.

After the series of limited overs, the India team was once again guilty of dropping catches at crucial moments to give the same batter, Marnus, two lifelines.
Australia could have gotten into more trouble, but Bumrah unnecessarily jumped on the edge of the thin leg and dropped a regulation catch off Marnus Labuschange (16 not out) on the penultimate lap before the break. It was an easy catch on the deep edge of the fine leg, but Bumrah made a meal out of it.
Bumrah eliminated the two Australian starters in quick succession before tea to leave the hosts shaken on the second day at the Adelaide Oval on Friday. Matthew Wade survived a test intro to the position before being trapped lbw for eight. Burns set off at the next Bumrah spot, also by eight, when a Yorker landed low on his platform.
Earlier, Mitchell Starc took 4-53 when Australia broke the Indian tail in the first half hour of play to dismiss the tourists for 244. Australia took the last four Indian wickets for just 11 runs after the visitors resumed at 233 -6. Australia captain Tim Paine’s team needed just 22 minutes and 4.1 overs to wrap up India’s first inning.
